River Day for 2-Day Class Grads
Join in on any Sunday River Trip, or for the second day of any two-day mid-week group lesson. We call them “River Days”. Coming back for another river day is great fun. You’ll still have the support of the instructors you know, in a format with which you are familiar—you may hear a familiar joke or two, but you’ll have a whole day to practice your new river skills. Paddle along with us on a Sunday or second day during a weekday two-day class, and participate in the class at whatever level you are comfortable. Most repeat kayak students come to class and play at a slightly higher level than their first class. It’s a great way to get more river time!

We also recommend taking the first day over again – the “Lake Day”. People who really want to hone their skills come back for a flatwater day on the Lake—and really fine-tune their strokes and skills. Ask any Olympic or National level kayaker how many hours they spent honing their skills in the controlled setting of the Lake … they’ll tell you “thousands of hours” for sure.
